Kinesiotaping is  used by Physical Therapists to promote the body’s natural healing process and give support to muscles, ligaments and joints. This special tape allows for more effective movement patterns without restricting range of motion.

The tape is water-resistant, stretchable, and can be worn for several days at a time.  It is used for a variety of conditions and can be applied to the skin in many ways. 

Kinesiotaping is usually combined with other therapy techniques to help treat your specific problem.  Some common uses of kinesiotape include:
